Empowerment Initiatives

At the Woman's Baptist Convention of SC, we are committed to promoting the cause of Christ in South Carolina through Christian Education and Missionary Work. Our mission is to evangelize our communities and support education through Morris College and Benedict College, enriching lives through education. We offer a variety of initiatives to help enrich our purpose, such as:

MISSIONARY WORK

Our Convention is dedicated to spreading the word of God and serving communities throughout South Carolina. Through our missionary work, we aim to help those in need and provide support to those who are struggling.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

We believe that education is an important part of our mission. That's why we partner with SCBCCE to help individuals grow in their faith and knowledge of the Bible.

MORRIS COLLEGE

Morris College is a private, coeducational, liberal arts college located in Sumter, South Carolina. As part of our commitment to education, we support Morris College and its mission to provide high-quality education to students of all backgrounds.

BENEDICT COLLEGE

Benedict College is a historically black, liberal arts college located in Columbia, South Carolina. We believe that education is a powerful tool for social change, and we support Benedict College in its efforts to provide opportunities for students to learn, grow, and succeed.

CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP

We believe that fellowship is an important part of our faith. Christian fellowship allows individuals to connect with others who share their beliefs. Our Annual meetings are designed to be welcoming and inclusive, providing a supportive community for all who attend.

Young Woman’s Auxiliary (YWA)

Nestled within the embrace of the Woman's Baptist Educational & Missionary Convention, the Young Woman’s Auxiliary (YWA) stands as a dynamic force. An inclusive haven, the YWA beckons to young women aged 18 to 45, from Baptist Churches within our Convention to be part of this inspiring and dedicated community of believers dedicated to fuel a vibrant community dedicated to growth, service, and empowerment.

Youth Department

Within the framework of the Women's Baptist Educational & Missionary Convention of South Carolina, the Youth Department emerges as a beacon of inspiration. Guided by the Convention's rich legacy, the Youth Department empowers the young minds within our Baptist community. Through engaging programs, and meaningful connections, we nurture the next generation of leaders, ensuring they thrive as compassionate, informed, and dynamic individuals.
