Greetings in the Matchless Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ!

Our theme for 2023 is “Stars for the Kingdom” Let your light shine!

Last year, we endured, never gave up, and did not quit. Therefore, our youth in South Carolina are ready to let our light shine in 2023.

In Matthew 5:16, Jesus says: "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

As the youth in South Carolina, we believe it is important for all men to glorify God. For that to happen, we as believers must do our part in the kingdom. Therefore, we must shine our light in the presence of all men. The light, who is Jesus Christ in our lives, must be present at all times. We have a choice to shine the light that is within us, Jesus Christ the hope of glory. Then, men will see our good deeds. As a result, God the Father will be glorified.

We are committed to doing our best to empower our youth with the knowledge of God so that the impact we have on their lives can be shared wherever they go.   It is our mission to continue to help teach, coach, and train them to become fruitful adults.

I’m all in.    I am grateful to have been given the awesome opportunity to serve the people of God as Director of the Youth Department of the Woman’s Baptist Educational and Missionary Convention of South Carolina, alongside our awesome Youth Officers.

I am asking for your continued support to encourage and motivate our youth in all of our churches, unions, and associations, to join us in making this one of the best years of the convention and a better world to live in.

We appreciate all your support.
